A variety of stains occur on paving stones, including stains caused by food and drink, motor oil, tyre marks, and chewing gum.
Concrete and natural stone are materials that have fine capillaries, which can allow moisture and dirt to penetrate the surface. However, the ProtecTop® system offers a solution to this problem. The ProtecTop® system is integrated into the production process and is permanently bonded to the stone, providing thorough protection. This system serves as a comprehensive protection mechanism for the stone.
The ProtecTop® system is designed to prevent moisture and dirt from infiltrating the stone. Depending on various Protect Factors, the level of protection can vary. In some cases, moisture and dirt are completely unable to penetrate the stone, while in others, they may only be able to partially do so.
By using water and gentle external cleaning agents, the stains and elements can be quickly and easily removed. This means that the surfaces will require less frequent cleaning, saving time and effort for the users.
The ProtecTop® system plays a crucial role in the production process as it provides a comprehensive protection that deeply penetrates the entire stone, becoming an integral part of it. Unlike other impregnations and coatings available in the market, ProtecTop® offers a distinct advantage in terms of its resistance to mechanical damage and adverse climatic conditions.
